Tomoya Hamano, Tech Strategy & Commercialization Manager at Mitsui & Co.’s Quantum Innovation Dept., participated as a speaker at the “Quantum Insights” workshop, hosted by Quantinuum and held in Singapore.
At the workshop, Hamano co-presented with Dr. Kentaro Yamamoto, Lead R&D Scientist at Quantinuum, and introduced QIDO.
The workshop was organized by Quantinuum in collaboration with the National Quantum Office and the National Quantum Computing Hub, bringing together senior leaders from industry, government, and academia to discuss the future landscape of quantum computing.
During the presentation, Hamano referred to the background of Mitsui & Co.’s engagement in quantum technologies and outlined QIDO for drug and materials Discovery, introducing the approach toward its application in real industrial contexts.
